Dr. Ralph R. Scobey and later, Dr. Morton S. Biskind and others, proposed in the mid-20th century that:
- Polio-like paralysis may have been caused, or at least worsened, by exposure to toxic pesticides, particularly DDT.
- They noted that the rise in polio cases in the early 20th century coincided with increased use of certain pesticides.
- They suggested that pesticide-induced neurotoxicity could mimic the symptoms of poliomyelitis (e.g., flaccid paralysis).
The last recorded case of wild polio in Ireland was in 1984. It wouldn’t be surprising to us to see Polio and other diseases re-emerge in Ireland, with the unvaccinated likely to be scape-goateed for any resurgence.
Bring it local:
In 2023, Uisce Éireann (Irish Water) identified 66 instances of pesticide exceedances across 22 public drinking water supplies. These exceedances were detected from over 34,000 water samples and were not considered a risk to human health. RTÉ didn’t report on this matter untill 2025.
The most frequently detected pesticide in Irish drinking water is MCPA, a herbicide used to control rushes, thistles, and docks. Other pesticides found include 2,4-D, glyphosate, clopyralid, and metaldehyde.
At the local level, some Irish councils have taken action to limit glyphosate (AKA Round-UP) use. For example, Cork City Council decided to stop using glyphosate in public areas like parks and footpaths, although it continues to be used in limited circumstances, such as controlling Japanese knotweed . Similarly, Credit where its due = Green Party councillor Seán Hartigan has called for a total ban on glyphosate by Limerick City and County Council, except in exceptional circumstances .TheCork.ie (News & Entertainment) Limerick Post Newspaper
South Dublin CC’s Glyphosate Policy
In July 2017, SDCC voted to adopt a partial ban on glyphosate-based herbicides. This ban applies specifically to public parks, public gardens, and play spaces. In these areas, the council employs alternative methods such as hand removal or allowing weeds to grow in designated boundary zones. South Dublin Meetings
For public spaces, particularly hard surfaces like roads and footpaths, glyphosate continues to be used. The council’s road sweeping contractor, Oxigen Environmental Ltd., includes glyphosate-based weed control in its services from April to September. While the council is exploring non-chemical alternatives, none have been found suitable thus far. That contract expired at the end of 2024, providing an opportunity to review and potentially update the approach to weed control. however as of yesterday 17 may 2025 no action has been taken by SDCC to find an alternative to the poison they spray EVERYWHERE.
Despite these local initiatives, glyphosate remains widely used in Ireland, especially in agriculture, and is NOT banned at the national level.
But, the deeper concern lies in overlooked and intentional actions that contribute to this harm of our family and friends this is a perfect example of creating a disaster just to benefit from the fear and “treatment”.
Before Modern Sanitation: Early-Life Exposure
- In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, poor sanitation meant children were exposed to poliovirus very early in life, often while still protected by maternal antibodies.
- This early, low-level exposure typically led to mild or asymptomatic infection, which conferred lifelong immunity.
Improved Sanitation: Delayed Exposure and DDT
This shift led to larger and more severe outbreaks of polio in the early-to-mid 20th century.
As public health and hygiene improved—especially in wealthier countries—people began avoiding early exposure to the virus.
This resulted in children being exposed later in life, after maternal immunity had waned.
Older children and adults were more likely to suffer from severe polio as a result from the overuse of DDT. leading to a vast international bio-injection program that created the AIDs concerns of the fallowing decades.
So where does this end? Have we, intentionally or not, engineered diseases, STIs, and STDs as tools of peacetime population control? are we being lied to about everthing we trust to be true?
Do you believe we’ve weakened the human immune system by refusing to inject chemical cocktails into our own and our children’s bodies? Or could the chemicals—designed to kill—that now replace clean water in our taps be contributing to the rise in disease, illness, and death? Share your thoughts or experiences in the comments below.
