The WEF is an unelected, unaccountable, and largely faceless organisation that many believe is attempting to influence and direct our societies and our lives at a domestic level—without public consent. It functions as a form of pseudo-government with global governance ambitions, supported by significant backing from national governments and major corporations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and GAVI. It is time for our politicians to ask the people whether this is what they want.
