Declan’s own words

When 2020 came along and the madness of covid was announced I immediately smelled a rat as the people that I trust the least in this world, the media, the government, the medical and pharmaceutical professions was all involved in getting the agreed message out. This message was based on fear and propaganda with no positive messages being relayed to the people to allay their fears and to help them through what they described as a once in a lifetime event. This message didn’t resonate with me but there was no other positive messages being relayed that would give hope to the masses and ensure a future of positivity. Then people mobilised with events that was contrary to the perceived narrative, and this was immediately of interest to me as someone who is willing to see both sides and then make my own mind up.

At these meetings I came across many wonderful people that were not afraid of the agreed government message and was questioning everything that they were being fed by the controlled media. One of these guys was Barry Stone who I instantly liked for his enthusiasm and his willingness to be someone who wasn’t afraid to relay his message in a public space. When he asked me to attend a Hold the Line public message board meeting in Dundrum, I was only too glad to attend and help. This proved to be a catalyst for what was to come. On that day we came across people that were too afraid to stop and chat but were only too willing to give the finger or some abuse as they rushed away in their cars but what was noticeable for me was the silent people who’d beep their car horns or gave a thumbs up and that only emboldened our resolve to continue to get the message out.

That eventually led to the rise of WakeUpéiRe volunteer group. This group is made up of so many wonderful volunteers and amazing people that give their time and effort, not sitting at home and shouting from a keyboard, but on the streets to ensure that the factual information that the government, media and the pharmaceutical giants tried to hide from the people was in the public arena. This is a huge undertaking by this group that requires energy and resolve to go out onto the streets and give the information that is being withheld from people so that they can decide for themselves what is the truth and what is not. This information is fully researched through trusted sources and these resources are shown in the leaflets that we hand out and on the website which is a very valuable resource and has grown hugely since it’s inception. Being on the streets with all the members of this group is a wonderful experience because of the passion and resolve they have shown in the face of extraordinary odds against them when the narrative was not in their favour. They volunteer all their time, effort and money to get this information together and out to the public and that takes resolve. I have met many wonderful people in my time, but I have never seen such dedication from people who are not afraid to put their heads above the parapet. We have people from all walks of life and many who have been vaccine injured but still get out to relay the factual information that this government has denied to the people. Their dedication to the truth is an inspiration for me and shows the true nature of people and gives me faith in the human resolve to stand up for what’s right and not be afraid to stand in your truth.
