In early 2021, a U.S. federal court in Texas ordered the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to release the safety data it used to approve the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. The FDA had requested to release the documents gradually over 75 years, but the court rejected this proposal.
In May 2022, the first batch of documents was published, including a report listing 1,223 reported fatalities following vaccination and over 1,200 “Adverse Events of Special Interest.
