On Sunday, the 24th of August, the youth of Ireland gathered at the Garden of Remembrance for a peaceful gathering to highlight continuing governmental failures to secure for them a future in Ireland worth staying for. They walked the short distance to the Custom House Quays, where there were some excellent speeches given by some Irish youths who are wise beyond their years. After the speeches, WakeUpéiRe volunteer Edel got a chance to talk to Aron, who organised the day. You can follow Aron on X @AronTheNationalist.
It gives us great pleasure and hope to see the youth of Ireland standing up and asserting their rights to obtain a future for themselves here in the place they were born.
