some people have asked me why I don’t work for a the tech giants any more, or if I’m so smart why do I live in relative poverty most of my immediate family are disappointed at what they believe to be a squandered mind. In response I’d like to share the words of Chris Cornell..
I don’t mind stealin’ bread from the mouths of decadents
But I can’t feed on the powerless when my cup’s already overfilled, yeah
But it’s on the table, the fire’s cookin’
And they’re farmin’ babies, while slaves are workin’
The blood is on the table and the mouths are chokin’
But I’m goin’ hungry, yeah
I don’t mind stealin’ bread from the mouths of decadents
But I can’t feed on the powerless when my cup’s already overfilled, uh huh
But it’s on the table, the fire’s cookin’
And they’re farmin’ babies, while the slaves are all workin’
And it’s on the table, their mouths are chokin’
But I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
uh, I don’t mind
(No, I don’t mind stealin’ bread)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)
I’m goin’ hungry (goin’ hungry)

MARIO SAVIO – “Operation of the Machine”
“There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part; you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!”
Mario Savio’s fantastic Sproul Hall Sit-in Address given on December 2, 1964 at the University of California, Berkeley was given at the height of the Free Speech Movement in the US, something we are about to see a repeat of. Many students, including Savio, spent the summer of 1964 down in Mississippi registering black sharecroppers to vote during Freedom Summer. They received a sharp education in the South and began to tune into the necessity for Free Speech on college campuses to protect and expand Civil Rights. Given all this is set to repeat it appears not much has changed in 60+ years And with war ever looming on the horizon actual body’s will be thrown at the gears of war if we do not heed the warnings of history. That’s why I am not a millionaire working in the tech, pharmaceutical, AI finance, sickness and/or war industry, that is why I’m going hungry.
