The WEF is a gathering of big business, political, and academic leaders pusher (megalomaniac) from Ireland inc. and around the world who discuss what economic issues, social challenges, and stupid trends will be imposed on us. It takes place every January in Davos, Switzerland making the town internationally recognized as a hub for economic and policy corruption.

Speaking ahead of his visit, the Minister said: “I look forward to travelling to Davos this week to represent the Irish Government and to engage with my international counterparts. “In this context, I welcome the opportunity to engage with leading multinational companies, as well as leading policymakers and influential economic thinkers at the World Economic Forum in support of retaining and growing the FDI base across Ireland, and driving further innovation across our island.
