The Sounding Of The Alarm

4 Years of ‘COVID’ – Nothing To See Here!

NEVER FORGET!

As the same three parties, with their familiar faces, settle into their usual positions in the three-ring circus that we call An Dáil, it’s worth pausing—if only for a moment—not just to observe the spectacle they create, but to reflect on the deeper, more painful reality that lies beneath. Behind the Simi polished speeches, almost crafted soundbites, and very strategic political manoeuvring, there is a painful history of decisions that have shaped Irish society in which we, the people, bear the weight of hardship, while a tiny elite lives lives of excess, far removed from the struggles of the many.

These decisions, made in boardrooms and backrooms, have not only harmed us, killed many and traumatised all—for over one hundred years they’ve criminalized our ways of life, dismissed our struggles, demonized our efforts for basic dignity, and entrenched a system of inequality that continues to widen the gap between the haves and the have-nots. They’ve exacerbated our economic and social hardships, subjected us to deepening poverty, mental strain, and now more than ever, uncertainty, and left many feeling invisible in the very land they where born of. Save the world? The soulless entitles we euphemistically call leaders cant help them selves…

What has been the cost of this politics? For countless families, it is the cost of missing out on time with loved ones or opportunity, of watching as the dream of a decent future slips further and further out of reach. It is the cost of watching our communities crumble under the weight of austerity measures or “International Obligations”, our children struggle with the legacy of an education system unfit for purpose a housing crises that has spawned a multi billion euro industry, and our elderly left to suffer and die alone in a system that has failed to protect them but actively promoted murder to save on pension payments that where lost decades ago.

And what of the lives lived in privilege, out of touch with the reality that most of us face? Theirs is a life of comfort built on the blood of generations who have been ignored, exploited, and denied their rightful place at the table. They claim to represent us, but their actions tell a very different story: one in which their interests—and those of their donors and Fascist Corporate allies—are prioritized over the welfare of the People who actually give their lives to this Island Nation.

We cannot let this continue. The status quo is not sustainable. For every smooth-talking politician that praises the “recovery” while ignoring the cries of those suffering the aftermath, for every policy that deepens the divide and criminalizes the pursuit of happiness, fairness and justice, we must stand up. The burdens we carry are not of our making, but the fight for a better, fairer society most certainly is. The time has come to challenge this broken system—not with words, but with the power of our collective will. We owe it to ourselves, to our families, and to the future generations who will inherit the world we leave behind.

Too many lives have been broken by their actions. Countless individuals, families, and communities have borne the brunt of policies rooted in shameless self-interest, indifference to You, your family and their safety and well-being, and a complete disconnect from the realities faced by the People of éiRe. These politicians, trapped in their echo chambers of power and privilege, have only contributed to a cycle of pain that affects not just the present, but will echo through generations to come if their are any. The impact of their choices is felt via health of a Peoples, empty pockets, in broken spirits, shattered dreams, and in the despair of those who struggle to survive against a system that seems designed to perpetuate inequality and endlessly benefit from the suffering caused.

Their decisions have not only contributed to the death and destruction of far too many lives, but they have done so through more insidious means than mere violence. Through systemic gaslighting, neglect, deliberate economic mismanagement, and a consistent pattern of marginalization, they have pursued policies with little regard for the well-being of the most vulnerable in society. The connections between their actions and the suffering they cause may not always be immediately visible, but they are undeniable. This is the true cost of their greed, their fear, and their corruption.

As they continue to follow their predictable routines, aligned with the interests of global powers like the USA, China, the WEF, the IMF, EU, or corporate giants such as Microsoft, Pfizer, AWS, Bank of America, or private entities like Bill Gates, we must never lose sight of the human toll these choices exact. Behind every new LAW, every budget cut, every “reform,” there are real lives being crushed, communities being eroded, and futures being stolen.

These powerful forces—both Corporate and Governmental AKA Public Private Partnership—are deeply entwined, and their priorities are clear: profit over Peoples, power over equity. And yet, it is us, the People, who are left to bear the consequences. Whether it’s through skyrocketing housing, food and transport costs, the dismantling of tried and tested public services in favour of an APP, or the crushing weight of the European Union, the repercussions of their actions reverberate through every corner of society.

As they shake hands with billionaires and world leaders, comfortable in their ivory towers, they turn a blind eye to the suffering they’ve caused—and the suffering yet to come. It is our responsibility to remind them, at every turn, that these are not just abstract numbers or policy outcomes—they are lives, our and their lifes. The human cost of their choices is measured in broken families, shattered communities, and lost potential. We must demand accountability, not just for their actions, but for the pain they have inflicted on so many.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we stand together and demand accountability. The pain they have caused cannot and should not be ignored and forgotten (again). We must continue to hold them accountable, not just for the harm done to us in the past and present, but for the future they are shaping with every policy they enact. The time for complacency has passed. We must rise, united in the recognition of our collective suffering, and fight for a future that prioritizes the health, dignity, and well-being of all our brothers and sisters—today, tomorrow, and for Irish generations to come.

NEVER FORGET, NEVER FORGIVE.
