It’s important, now more than ever to advocate for our right to speak, at a time when the global state of freedom of expression is most restricted. We must demonstrate our right to speak, through the very action of speaking. The act of speaking is also the act of thinking. When one speaks using the language of a political agenda, they are encouraged to think and believe the ideas represented by the language.
