The Covid vaccines are being extended to younger and younger age groups, and this week in Ireland to children between 6 months and 4 years of age. An age group with minimal risks from Covid, being given a novel vaccine with as yet unknown medium or long-term safety or efficacy profiles. I am grateful to my colleague for writing this letter with me, which we have sent to the HSE and the Chair of NIAC by e-mail. I also sent it to my TDs.
